Which RZR XP trim fits you
- Sport is the base trim. Steel wheels or basic alloys, standard suspension, no ride command screen. It costs the least and does everything the platform is built for.
- Premium adds better wheels and tires, painted panels, and on newer years a more finished interior. It is the most common trim on our floor and usually the sweet spot on price.
- Ultimate stacks on Ride Command, upgraded audio, and Fox Podium shocks depending on the year. If you want the electronics from the factory instead of adding them later, this is the one.
- The XP 4 1000 versions of each trim add two rear seats on a longer chassis. Same engine, same trims, room for four.
Why a two-year-old RZR is the value buy
New RZRs take their biggest depreciation hit in the first two seasons. A 2023 or 2024 with a few hundred to a couple thousand miles is often thousands less than new, still on current-generation suspension and clutching, and usually still wearing its original tires. You skip the break-in period and the first-year price drop at the same time. Most of the side-by-sides we stock fall in exactly this window.
What to check on a used RZR XP 1000
- Belt condition and clutch sheaves — the CVT belt is a wear item, and how it looks tells you how the machine was ridden.
- Front diff and driveline for noise or play, especially on units that saw hard trail use.
- A-arm bushings, ball joints and tie rods — the usual wear points on any high-mileage XP.
- Frame and skid plate for impact damage underneath.
- Service history where available, and whether recalls were completed.
Our shop checks all of this before a unit is listed. Ask and we will walk you through what we found on any specific machine.
