Why the Polaris Sportsman shows up on so many farms
There is a reason the Sportsman is the four-wheeler you see behind barns from Corydon to Scottsburg. The 570 has enough torque to pull a loaded trailer or drag a food plot implement, and the 450 H.O. does most of the same work for less money. Both take front and rear racks, a winch, and a plow without drama. Electric power steering, where equipped, matters more than people expect on long days of mowing rounds or plowing snow.
We also take in Honda and Kawasaki Brute Force quads regularly. If you do not see the brand you want in the grid above, check our full Side-by-Sides and ATVs inventory or everything in stock — stock turns over weekly.
Where to ride in Southern Indiana
- Interlake State Recreation Area near Lynnville — the biggest public ORV area in the state
- Redbird SRA near Dugger — trails for quads and dirt bikes
- Private land — most ATV use around Clarksville, Salem and Madison is farm and hunting ground; know your county's road-use rules before crossing between fields
What to check on any used quad
We inspect every unit before it is listed, but you should look too. Check the front A-arm bushings and ball joints for play — mud riding wears them fast. Look at the CV boots for tears. Pull the dipstick and the air filter; milky oil or a packed filter tells you how the machine was treated. On a Sportsman, listen for belt noise from the clutch cover on a test run. Ask us for a walkaround video and we will show you all of it on camera.
How buying works right now
Our Clarksville showroom at 305 E Lewis and Clark Pkwy opens in person on December 1, 2026. Until then we sell online and remote-only — and it works. You pick the unit, we send photos and video, you sign remotely, and we deliver free within 150 miles. That covers all of Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
Start with a soft-pull pre-approval that does not touch your credit score. Financing runs through local credit unions and banks. Have an old quad, mower-money bike or trade-in? We take trades on everything. Questions — call (812) 924-1039 during business hours, Mon–Fri 9–6 and Sat 9–5 Eastern.
