Sell Your Bike

The Process of Selling Your Bike

We make selling your bike simple, fast, and stress-free. Just follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Send Us Photos of Your Bike

To get started, we’ll need a few key pictures. Please send us the following:

  •  A full-body photo of the entire bike

  •  A close-up of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

  •  A clear image of the odometer showing the mileage

  •  Photos of any visible damage or imperfections if there is any

These help us give you an accurate trade-in estimate.

Step 2: We'll Review and Respond

  • Please send your photos directly to Zach at  812-718-9757. Zach will be your point of contact and will make sure everything goes smoothly!

Once we receive your photos:

  • You’ll get a confirmation text acknowledging we received everything.

  • If needed, we may ask for more photos or a few follow-up questions to clarify details.

Step 3: We Determine Your Bike's Trade-In Value

Our team will evaluate the information and determine your bike’s value. This usually takes about an hour or less.

Step 4: We Reach Out With an Offer

After the evaluation:

  • We’ll call or text you with the trade-in offer.

  • If we agree on the terms, we’ll work with you to schedule a pickup or drop-off time that works best.

Step 5: No Pressure, No Strings

If we can’t come to an agreement—no hard feelings at all! We appreciate the opportunity and hope you find the perfect deal elsewhere.

Let Us Answer Any Other Questions You Might Have

Selling Your Ride? Here’s What You Need to Know

What years will Payton Place actually buy?

We typically buy on-road vehicles that are 20 years old or newer. If it’s older, we might still be interested — but it should be in great shape or something unique that we know customers love.

Will Payton Place take care of my loan and handle the payoff?

Yes — we’ll work directly with your lender to get the lien paid off. If there's any equity, we’ll write you a check for it.

What if I owe more on my loan than what you’re offering?

No problem. You’ll just cover the difference between your payoff amount and our offer. Once we receive your portion, we’ll send the full payoff to your lender.

What if I never got the title in my name and it’s still considered open?

We can still buy it, as long as the back of the title is signed correctly and you have proper documentation to support the ownership.
